Bruce Museum

Sector: Cultural

Type of Work: Interior Fit Out

This project involves a major addition to an existing active museum, requiring seamless integration of new infrastructure while maintaining ongoing operations. The scope includes installation of high-end lighting systems with advanced lighting controls, a new 3,000-amp electrical service, and a 3,000 kVA generator to support reliable power distribution. Life safety and technology systems are incorporated through fire alarm installation, tel-data and security wiring, and comprehensive lightning protection. Full BIM coordination ensures accuracy across trades and minimizes conflicts during construction, delivering a high-performance and future-ready electrical system for the museum.

Sector: Financial Institution

Type of Work: Mission Critical

The project involved the installation of new emergency power infrastructure, including (2) 1200 kW generators, multiple ATS units, and (3) 250 KVA Liebert UPS systems with a paralleling board and distribution panels. Supporting approximately 50,000 square feet of tenant space, the scope included full lighting and controls, communication and security risers, A/V systems, and upgrades to the fire alarm. Additional work covered branch wiring for HVAC, elevators, and IT rooms, along with rigging and dedicated ground risers. Completed in under six months, the project required approximately 25,000 man-hours.
